Our promise to you: Personalised service with time to answer all your questions and ensure you get the right instrument for your needs.
Stewart Kelly began his love affair with the piano at the age of six when he would sit at the feet of his school music teacher and stare at the magic happening before him. He opened House of Pianos to share his love of this magnificent instrument and to ensure you get honest, expert advice in selecting the perfect instrument for your needs.
He has been selling pianos for nearly 15 years and he personally selects every piano in our store.
If you need a piano for home, school, church, a venue or the concert stage, no one has more knowledge to ensure you get the right piano.
Outside of the piano store, Stewart is highly in demand as a teacher and performer. He is Artistic Director of Music by the Springs, a chamber music festival held each February in Hepburn Springs which you can read more about here. Learn more about his other performance work here.

I was born into a family with a strong appreciation of all things music. My father is one of a rare breed, he not only can play all sorts of instruments but he is able to make and craft the most beautiful pianos, violins, Chinese zithers and so on. My mother is renowned as one of the best Guzheng teachers in the north east of China. My childhood memories are those of the sounds beautiful music and the smell of wood work. This then evolved into me falling in love with all things musical. My parents started to open their own instrument shops in 1997 and I've been involved ever since then and they now operate four music stores in China.
Throughout my academic life, I have studied in various countries and cities to experience the culture of these business environments. Japanese Kaizen and European International business principles are some of my learning's thus far. I graduated from Monash university with master of international business and master of European and International studies.
