Eliza is a classical singer with over 15 years of training and extensive performance experience with leading opera company Victorian Opera. In furthering her training, she is currently completing her Bachelor of Music at the Melbourne Conservatorium.

 

Eliza works extensively with children, running children’s birthday parties and teaching performing arts. She values the reward of teaching and working with children, finding their development and energy inspiring. 
 

Eliza has experience teaching all ages of children and is driven to nurture their love of music. In fostering this love of music, her lessons incorporate and develop the student’s technique, repertoire, language skills and performance practice. As an avid performer in musical theatre, Eliza is excited to expose her students to both classical and musical theatre repertoire. 

 

In addition to her teaching endeavours, Eliza has been a member of the Victorian Opera since 2013, performing with their Youth Ensemble (VOYCE) as well as multiple productions. These include The Grumpiest Boy in the World, Four Saints in Three Acts, The Magic Pudding, The Cunning Little Vixen, William Tell and most recently, Parsifal. In addition to this, she recently completed a Music Management Internship at the Victorian Opera which she was awarded by the Melbourne Conservatorium.

In other performance ventures, Eliza has performed in Melbourne Universities Gloria Vivaldi Project and Dialogue of the Carmelites. Additionally, at the conclusion of 2018, Eliza was invited by the Head of Voice at the Conservatorium;  Stephen Grant to perform with his professional ensemble e21 in their performances at the Ballarat Goldfields Festival in early 2019. 

 

Eliza has had the honour of receiving Zonta’s, Francis Quinn Arts Excellence Scholarship. Additionally, at the conclusion of her studies at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Eliza was awarded the VCAA Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarship for Music Performance. Most recently, she has been awarded a Choral Scholar position at St Johns Church. 

 

Eliza is available for singing teaching ages 4 - 14 as well as acting/audition coaching.
